Winter Mornings

I am a huge Calvin and Hobbes fan. Those books are my bibles. I remember one particular one, where Calvin is lying in his bed, buried underneath his blankets, while outside the snow falls gently. He snuggles deeper into his cave of blankets, while his mom brings him a mug of steaming hot cocoa and tucks him in. That is however, all a dream, as n the next picture his mom comes in, without hot cocoa, shouting "Why aren't you dressed yet?! The bus is going to be here any second!"
For me that is a lot like my life these days. Having just finished my winter vacation, I realize that I could use another one right now. I guess I'm just in the same mentality that held me over break. It was great though. Waking up and then casually looking over to my desk, where the clock would read 8:00, I would smile and slide back into the blankets, listening (not to the sound of snow falling unfortunately) but the soft gentle purring of my cat sleeping next to me. Ah, what a life.
Now it's up at 5:30 every other morning, for what ends up being a very long day.
Oh well.
C'est la vie.
