A Selfie that Actually Worked

Confession: I did not actually take this picture! That's Josh (who came with me to Russia) and he took this himself. I just think it's a cool picture.

I'm actually kind of amazed that this turned out so well. Usually when someone takes a self-portrait (selfie :P jajaja!) with an SlR it doesn't turn out like this. We're at a Church in Moscow here, and after about 4 or 5 pics of the church, we started going for amusing pictures rather than beautifully artistic ones. It was just more interesting that way.

Anywho, I'll try to post soon. But I can't guarantee anything. Time's tight these days. It's usually money that's tight, but for me right now it's time. exams are coming up, the last quarter of the year is starting. I'll try to find time to post a couple shots.

So, until next time,

It's been a pleasure having a one-way conversation with you

The Subway Scene

So far I haven't done such a great job of keeping up on my new years reso. I got back from Russia two weeks ago, and here's the first pic that I've posted. Sorry! I've just been busy with school. But I have some time on my hands now, so let's see if I can get a couple pics up to make up for my absence.

This was taken in the subway, which you should have already guessed that, in Moscow (you really weren't expected to guess that one). I was experimenting with shutter speed in the stations, which were pretty cool.

A lot of the pics I took here didn't turn out so well; I didn't have my good lens with me at the time (curses!) so most of them were completely blurry. But this one's not so bad. The person;s in focus at least. And the train does look sort of like it's moving.

Good :)
