This is a picture of my dog Dulce. This was another one of my "first" pictures; I was just getting into photography so I picked up my dads Sony Cybershot and started shooting pictures in my backyard. I wasn't quite sure which pictures I wanted to take when I went out there, and Dulce was running around the yard, so I just took a chance and clicked the shutter button. I really had no idea what I was doing, which was the case with most of my early photos (many of them were mistakes). I took a number of different pictures of Dulce, but I like this one the best, and I'm not quite sure why. Maybe the colors; my other Dulce pics did not turn out so well, color-wise at least. I also like the slightly shallow blur on Dulce's nose; it makes the focal point of the image her eyes, which I really like. I like the sort of perplexed, confused look on her face, almost as if she too is not quite sure what is going on. I'm afraid to say that I was in this same frame of mind (photography-wise) when I took this photo. Oh well, I like my mistake.
